Danity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day & Shannon Bex Reveal New Duo, Dumblonde!

On Sunday (March 29), after months of teasing — and the testing of my patience– Aubrey O’Day and Shannon Bex finally reveal the name of their new duo… Dumblonde! The girls have been hard at work on the new project after the demise of Danity Kane (again) back in August, 2014. The duo also unveiled the bold imagery for the upcoming EP, serving Warholian/Pin-up REALNESS. Needless to say I am so here for all of this.

Dumblonde’s official website give a glimpse into the direction of their new material stating that ‘their debut has strong dance and alternative influences reminiscent of acts like The Ting Tings, and La Roux.’ Yes. Yes. And more YAS! Little else is known about the project but what we do know is that the ladies have recruited production from Dem Jointz, Candice Pillay, and R8dio. O’Day & Bex have also filmed a number of videos with directors Alfredo Florez (Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber), Justin Jones (Soulja Boy), and Rage. Rumor has it that Dumblonde will release a video anthology to correspond with the release of the EP. Dumblonde will also give fans a preview of the new material April 11th at an exclusive listening party in LA, which you can purchase tickets for at Soundrink.com at $100 a pop!
